Research Reports
Capacity Analytics is conducting comprehensive and extensive research on the areas of keen interest and immediate attention.
Mapping the Potential of Circular Economy in Pakistan
Our in-house research team worked on mapping the potential for Circular Economy in Pakistan. This initial report on CE served as an important milestone for the company and the policy makers & academia in general to develop the necessary discussion and debate on CE. It served as a baseline study for future relevant policy, leading to discussions with Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination on furthering the work to support the Government of Pakistan’s evidence based decisions.
State of Social Protection
Considering the global pandemic situation, our team conducted a study titled ‘State of Social Protection in Pakistan’ funded by the Social Protection Resource Centre (SPRC), which provided a comprehensive critical analysis and assessment of the existing social protection regime of Pakistan at national and sub-national levels. Using the existing data on social protection, Capacity Analytics team provided technical expertise in measuring the need for social protection in Pakistan based on Social Protection Index (SPI) at the district level. The study provided a benchmark for the social protection need by ranking the districts and thus, proposed an optimal setup of social protection regime in Pakistan based on the idea of transformative social protection.
Women Employment Trends in Urban Areas of Punjab
Considering the technical area of labor and employment, our team conducted a study on the Women Employment Trends in Urban Areas of Punjab to understand the socio-economic, geographic, and demographic profiles and challenges of program design and factors that inhibited two-thirds of women graduates from securing employment.
